Police Urged to Investigate Possible Foul Play in Tragic Death of Ashley Marie Carter

Justice for Ashley

The family of Ashley Marie Carter, a 33-year-old mother of two residing in San Bernardino, California, is fervently appealing to the San Bernardino PD to conduct a thorough investigation into the devastating murder of their beloved family member.

Los Angeles, California Mar 17, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - "We believe our daughter's death should be investigated further, and we're wondering if race and locale played a role in the decision they made," said Carla Frueh, Ashley's mother. The family emphasizes that Ashley Marie was not an addict and had taken significant steps towards personal growth and becoming the best version of herself.

According to preliminary investigations, Ashley Marie Carter was found unresponsive in her home. The San Bernardino County Coroner's Office determined the cause of death to be acute toxicity of fentanyl, which the family finds implausible, considering she had been clean for years. In a tragic irony, Willie Mosley, Ashley's husband, was reportedly an addict and participating in an outpatient treatment clinic for fentanyl addiction in San Bernardino at the time of her death. After enduring years of physical and mental abuse, Ashley finally decided to leave Willie and start anew on the day she was killed. He threatened her life on numerous occasions and in the exact manner she died, with fentanyl. Mr. Mosley also warned Ashley's father, Solomon Carter during a recent visit stating, "I will gut you like a fish." Mosley was loud, erratic, and confrontational to anyone he came in contact with after his daily methadone treatments.

The family of Ashley Marie has reached out to both Sergeant Plummer of the San Bernardino Police Department and the District Attorney to share crucial information and inconsistencies surrounding the death. However, as of today, they have not received any communication from the San Bernardino police department regarding the information they have provided.

"We request that the police interview Willie Mosley to clarify his whereabouts during the time of the murder and the varying accounts he has given. The ring footage we have does not align with the information we were provided," remarks Carla Frueh.

The inquiry has uncovered allegations that members of Mr. Mosley's family were involved in the cleanup of the crime scene to shield him. It is also important to note that Ashley's son, who has been under the care of the Mosley family since his mother's death, might possess firsthand knowledge of the events surrounding her death on February 15, 2024. This situation could potentially expose him to danger. Multiple family members have pointed this out to Child Protective Services, to no avail.

"We can only hope that the San Bernardino Police Department is collaborating closely with the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office to ensure a comprehensive and exhaustive investigation is carried out," she added.
