Regina SK Medical Aesthetician School, Aesthetic Technician Training Updated

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (306-559-2410) has launched several changes to its Basic, Advanced, and Master-level medical aesthetics training program, making it easier for students to complete their certification while learning from home, with just one week of hands-on training at the Academy.

Laval, Canada - July 3, 2023

Enrollment in the new classes launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy allows students to become fully certified and ready to begin working in a medical aesthetic clinic, while completing the majority of their education online.

Further details about changes to individual courses, the full list of procedures taught at the Academy, and registration information can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

With the latest updates to the Dermysk Academy’s Basic training program, students can now complete their certification with only a high school diploma, or some form of relevant work experience. Students can now also choose to enroll directly in the Master-level training program, to gain the complete Master of Medical Aesthetics certification in a single course.

While the Master-level training allows any student to apply, the Dermysk Academy reserves the right to limit enrollment in this class to certain highly dedicated students. This course includes everything taught in both the Basic and Advanced programs, as well as exclusive training that is only available through the Master’s course.

All the new courses from the Dermysk Academy use a similar course structure, with the educational components of the training separated from the practical, so that students can complete much of their training from anywhere with an internet connection. Students will be asked to complete several online modules at their own pace, before scheduling their practical, hands-on training at the Academy.

During the practical training portion of the class, students will work with a wide variety of medical aesthetic tools, both in simulations and with actual clients. After graduation, students will be fully certified and experienced in up to a dozen medical aesthetic procedures per course, and ready to begin working in a clinic or at their own business.

Each course provides insight into the medical aesthetic industry, the legal and regulatory requirements of running a clinic, and several proven strategies that can help students to begin their own medical aesthetic business. Students will also be given access to the Dermysk Academy’s after-graduate support program, which helps to highlight opportunities for career advancement or additional Medspa training, and focuses on helping students to achieve their individual career goals.

A spokesperson for the Academy explained, “Post-graduate support is an essential aspect of any educational institution, especially in the field of medical aesthetics, where advances in technology and treatments are continuously evolving.”
