Halifax Medical Esthetic, Medspa Certification For High School Grads 2023 Update

The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) is now offering updated courses that allow high school graduates to complete their Medspa certification in as little as a few months, using a new hybrid training program that combines online learning and practical instruction.

Laval, Canada - June 16, 2023

This updated training program from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has been optimized to help new aestheticians complete their certification and ensure that they have hands-on experience working with actual clients, while reducing the time they are required to spend in the classroom.

More information about the new hybrid learning system, prerequisites for the course, and a full list of included certifications can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy

By splitting the aesthetician training program into two portions: education and practice, the Dermysk Academy can now allow students to complete most of their training online, before attending the hands-on practical training sessions. While students will still be required to spend approximately one-week training at the Academy, they can complete most of their education from their own homes, or anywhere with an internet connection.

After completing the Basic course, which can be done in as little as a few months, students will be fully certified and experienced in up to a dozen popular medical aesthetic procedures. At this point, students may choose to enter the workforce as medical aestheticians, or they can choose to enroll in another course to further improve their skills.

To enroll in the updated Basic course, students will require at least a high school diploma or some form of relevant work experience. This Basic course will also act as the prerequisite for the Dermysk Academy’s Advanced course, though it can also be accessed by practicing aestheticians with at least 5 years of industry experience.

In the Advanced course, students will gain experience in more complex procedures, such as Body Sculpting and laser gynecology. While the Basic course includes some information about running a medical aesthetic business, the Advanced course covers individualized business strategies, how to manage difficult customers, and effective solutions to common complications.

Students may also choose to enroll in the Master’s level course, to access the complete training program at once, as it includes all the content covered in both the Basic and Advanced programs. This course also covers exclusive content not available from other courses and provides graduates with a Master of Medical Aesthetics certification.

All graduates of the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy’s updated courses will be enrolled in the Postgraduate Support program, which provides ongoing assistance in finding career opportunities and further improving their new skills.
