He added: "Setting out an estate plan will also help loved ones to know your precise wishes if you become incapacitated and unable to make decisions independently. It will help clarify your medical care requests and final arrangements."
He concluded that a person putting off estate planning should consult an attorney specialized in this field to understand better the advantages of having one in place.
