“Back in 2018, I was looking for a new backpack, since mine was completely worn down. Getting my backpack fixed was going to cost me almost as much as buying a new one, so buying a new one seemed like the better option at the time. I like creating and customizing my own stuff, so I started looking at brands that offered backpack customization,” says co-founder Jens Van Havermaet on the inspiration behind the project. “The bigger brands offered a lot of color combinations for their different backpack models, but I could never create a combination that really fit my personality and style. I started looking for backpacks that were modular, where I could create my own layout and color combination, but I quickly found out that there was no brand that offered that.”
The MODJL Attachment System is user-friendly and secure; utilizing a combination of high-quality magnets and webbing loops to ensure the MODJL remains perfectly in place, no matter the design of choice.
