IntelligenceBank (www.intelligencebank.com) has announced a new Microsoft 365 connector, enabling IntelligenceBank users to edit Office documents in real time when working within the IntelligenceBank platform.
With the new integration, IntelligenceBank's customers use their existing Microsoft 365 login to edit and collaborate with colleagues in real time on Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents — without having to leave the IntelligenceBank platform.
This new add-on feature provides the following benefits:
- Edit documents directly within IntelligenceBank — removing the need to download and re-upload files.
- Create documents online — directly within IntelligenceBank.
- Speed up feedback loops — including tracked changes if enabled within the Office document.
According to Chris Holmes, IntelligenceBank's Product Operations Director, "With the introduction of the new connector, creative teams and collaborators can now use a familiar tool that further extends how quickly they can create, manage feedback and approve documents within IntelligenceBank."
Here's how the connector works:
- Users require an existing Microsoft 365 account to edit files;
- The Edit Online action can be viewed on compatible Office files (e.g., Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations) within the IntelligenceBank platform once the feature is enabled;
- Users can create new Office files and start editing and collaborating with colleagues as a "working file";
- Comments made in Office are saved within the Word, PowerPoint or Excel file and can be shared with other users;
- When users save the Office file to a folder, workflow rules will apply.
