TYSONS CORNER, Va. - October 27, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

CORAS®, an enterprise decision management software company in Tysons, VA, has won a prototype project agreement (PPA) under the Other Transaction Authority (OTA) with the U.S. Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic for the Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP). The focus of the prototype is to improve and troubleshoot shipboard information technology (IT) systems. As part of this effort, CORAS will leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) software from Plasticity, Inc. OTA refers to the authority of the Department of Defense (DoD) to carry out certain prototypes, research, and production projects (10 U.S.C. § 2371b).

The combined efforts of the IWRP team, Advanced Technology International (manager of the IWRP consortium as awarded/appointed on June 26, 2018, by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR)) and CORAS staff were critical in the speed of awarding the PPA.

CORAS President Dan Naselius said, "We are excited to expand CORAS' footprint within the U.S. Navy. Implementing Plasticity's superior AI/NLP capabilities within CORAS' FedRAMP High Cloud security will help the Navy leverage data and root cause analysis to run tactical systems expediently and efficiently, and simultaneously gather and identify more information."

CORAS has a strong record of past performance with the Armed Forces, providing unique solutions that process data into useable information. CORAS brings live-data multidimensional organizational views, budget trade-offs, decisions, and accountability to help agencies stay on mission. With Plasticity now a part of the CORAS software, CORAS can provide Federal agencies with the highest levels of confidence, security, and performance.

Alex Sands, Plasticity co-founder, said, "Natural language processing is driving even deeper insights from data to power government and commercial decision-making. We're excited to integrate Plasticity into CORAS' OTA effort to bring secure, state-of-the-art NLP to a tactical DoD environment."

Plasticity provides NLP and machine learning (ML) software to companies across a variety of industries including government, finance, commerce, and healthcare. Plasticity's software is used by 200+ companies for semantic language understanding, question answering, and entity extraction, as well as in machine learning pipelines.

CORAS was built for the government marketplace and is designed for the decision-maker to view multiple option scenarios and aggregate disparate data sets for one single pane of glass solution. With its FedRAMP High status, CORAS is up and running in days, supercharging Decision Management and providing Federal/DoD leadership with the ability to optimize the scope and impact of their data, connect siloed data sources, provide live and flexible reporting, and make defendable decisions. CORAS is also a partner with Carahsoft Technology Corp, The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®.

CORAS, Plasticity, and HumanTouch, LLC are held by Executive 1 Holding Company, LLC (EX1), a strategic conglomeration of AI/ML/NLP technology and consulting solutions to the Federal Government.
