Yail's Garden Opens in Merrillville, IN

First generation business owner Chiquita Lewis opens her new retail location on August 21, 2021 in Merrillville, Indiana.

MERRILLVILLE, IN, July 29, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Entrepreneur Chiquita Lewis is hosting a grand opening for her wellness center, Yail's Garden on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 12pm to 6pm at 7880 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410.

The Yail's Garden grand opening is the ultimate back to school event that is perfect for local families and individuals who love all things wellness!

At the grand opening event, there will be live drumming on site, a DJ, an herbal bar where individuals can customize bath salts and sugar scrubs; kids interactive activities that include sound healing meditation and games, and of course delicious food from event sponsors, Goose Island and Jerky Jerk. The attendees will be encouraged to donate school supplies that will benefit the students of the Betty Shabazz School.

Chiquita knows personally how families can feel overwhelmed with all of the decisions that need to be made in preparation for going back to school and wants the Yail's Garden Grand Opening to help alleviate some of those pressures with both school supplies and wellness strategies! When asked what wellness means to her, Chiquita replied, "Wellness is a "lifestyle."

Entrepreneur Chiquita Lewis started her line of products because of her two types of autoimmune diseases and wanted to live a healthier life for her 4 children.

After countlessly researching the ingredients in common products that we use for daily self-care, Chiquita learned how hazardous some products are to our health. She took matters into her own hands, gathered healthy and safe ingredients, and began making products at her home. This kicked off Yail's Garden.
