On July 18, 2025, global crypto exchange Echobit officially integrated Korea’s compliance solution, CODE, becoming a CODE Alliance partner. This marks a key step in Echobit’s global compliance strategy, reinforcing its commitment to user asset security and regulatory adherence under Korea’s Travel Rule.

As a CODE member, Echobit will leverage CODE’s solution to offer compliant spot and OTC virtual asset trading to retail, accredited, and institutional investors, enhancing service security and compliance.

The Korea CODE Alliance, formed by major local exchanges, implements the FATF-recommended CODE Travel Rule solution to help regulators track virtual asset flows between VASPs, strengthening AML and CFT efforts. Since 2021, Korea’s amended Specific Financial Transaction Information Act mandates strict Travel Rule enforcement by all crypto exchanges.

Echobit’s integration of CODE underlines its proactive compliance approach, solidifying risk controls and building a secure, reliable global digital asset trading ecosystem.
