New York, NY, USA - May 5, 2025 - Celebrated TV personality and producer Ornella Fado, known for her acclaimed show Brindiamo!, is heading to Toronto to film an exciting new mini-series titled Brindiamo! Special Edition - Toronto. This series celebrates the upcoming 20th anniversary of broadcasting in America.
The mini-series will spotlight Italian culinary excellence in the vibrant Canadian city, featuring exclusive episodes filmed at renowned Italian establishments, including Don Alfonso, with chef Davide Ciavattella.
Ornella Fado previously filmed an episode at the Michelin-starred restaurant Don Alfonso in Sant'Agata dei due Golfi with chef Ernesto Iaccarino in 2007.
In addition, Ornella will showcase chef Luciano Schipano from Boccaccio and will visit Franco Filice at Posticino, Alessandro Tarallo at Napoli Centrale and chef Jorge Fiestas at Buca Cucina.
Ornella Fado's work has long celebrated Italian culture, cuisine, and the stories of Italians abroad. She will meet with chefs, restaurateurs, and local influencers shaping Toronto's Italian food scene in this series. Brindiamo! Special Edition—Toronto promises to highlight extraordinary dishes and the passion, tradition, and innovation that define the Italian culinary presence in Toronto.
