M4I announces simultaneous acquisition of Reilly Insurance Agency positioning the platform for continued rapid expansion

Navigant Capital Partners (“Navigant”), a differentiated investment firm focused on start small, scale fast, “platform business building,” announced today that it has made a significant growth investment into Marketplace 4 Insurance (“M4I” or the “Company”), a leading Southeast-based independent insurance brokerage platform. Navigant’s investment will continue to support M4I’s aggressive M&A strategy, which has included eight fully-integrated acquisitions since the Company’s inception in 2019. M4I’s founders and management, including Chief Executive Officer, Jerad Kirk, and Chief Development Officer, Adam Herring, will continue to lead the Company and remain significant shareholders.

Simultaneous with the investment, M4I acquired Reilly Insurance Agency (“Reilly Insurance”), a leading Maryland-based independent insurance agency, in partnership with Reilly Insurance’s founder, Richard Reilly. Richard Reilly will continue to lead Reilly Insurance’s agency operations and remains a significant shareholder. The transaction expands M4I’s growing footprint and provides a foundation for further expansion in the Mid-Atlantic. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
