Industry Leaders Craig Barnes, Michael Broderick, and Tim Turvey to Help Drive Performance Improvement to Enhance Long-Term Value for Customers

Engagement of Industry Veterans Reflects the Strength and Resilience of the Business

First Brands Group, LLC (“First Brands” or the “Company”), a leading global supplier of aftermarket automotive parts, today announced the appointment of three seasoned executives as Senior Advisors to guide long-term performance initiatives across the organization.

Craig Barnes, Michael Broderick, and Tim Turvey will provide strategic guidance across key operational areas, leveraging decades of industry leadership to help strengthen execution and reinforce First Brands’ commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers and partners. Their engagement reflects their belief in the durability of the Company’s brands and the strength of its global platform as First Brands works to successfully navigate its ongoing chapter 11 proceedings.

“Welcoming three accomplished automotive leaders to the First Brands team marks an important milestone in our transformation and a clear marker of First Brands’ strength,” said Charles Moore, interim Chief Executive Officer of First Brands. “Craig, Michael, and Tim are respected operators with decades long track records of delivering results in the aftermarket industry, and their decision to join First Brands is a direct reflection of the significant opportunities ahead. I am confident that their leadership will be invaluable as we advance through our financial restructuring and strengthen performance across our entire organization.”

“We are excited to support First Brands at this important moment in its evolution,” said Michael Broderick on behalf of all appointees. “The Company has a strong foundation, market-leading brands, and a significant opportunity to further strengthen its position in the automotive aftermarket. We look forward to working closely with the First Brands team and its customers to help advance the business and contribute to its long-term success.”

Barnes, Broderick, and Turvey will partner with First Brands’ leadership team, led by Moore, to advance the Company’s delivery performance, operational improvement, and growth initiatives. These appointments strengthen the Company’s capabilities, and there are no changes to the existing leadership structure in connection with this announcement.
