Glydways, a leading global Automated Transit Network (ATN), today announced the start of its Global Tour: an opportunity for transit agencies, policymakers, and mass transit riders across the U.S., Asia Pacific, and the Middle East to interact with the company’s Glydcar. Many of the destinations on the tour itinerary are home to the latest Glydways projects and will give attendees a chance to better understand how Glydways is redefining mass transit through its high-capacity solution delivered at a fraction of the cost of legacy approaches.
For attendees at each Global Tour destination, they’ll interact with Glydways’ Glydcar that provides direct, on-demand transit experiences for all, with personalized features such as temperature and music control, short wait times, and one-stop rides. Riders of Glydways get nonstop service, 24/7, with no transfers, or delays.
The Global Tour will make stops at the following important industry events through 2025:
- Oct. 24: Atlanta Regional Council’s State of the Region (Atlanta)
- Oct. 29: Miami Miami-Dade TPO Transportation Industry Forum (Miami)
- Oct. 30-Nov. 9: Japan Mobility Show (Tokyo)
- Nov. 5-7: Florida Automated Vehicles Summit (Orlando)
- Nov. 10-15: Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (Abu Dhabi)
Glydways is building a mass transit solution for forward-thinking cities such as Atlanta, Miami, Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, San Jose, Dubai, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and others where population growth, climate goals, and constrained infrastructure demand new approaches to mobility that add net new capacity to urban transit systems. Glydways delivers equitable mobility access, ensuring that transit is accessible to all, including underserved communities, thus enabling greater opportunity and improved urban quality of life.
To date, Glydways has secured several projects that have been awarded within the last 24 months via competitive public procurements. Operations are to begin in the second half of 2026. Glydways is engaged in more than 100 different project opportunities around the world, working closely with cities, airports, and property developers to improve public transit for their respective communities, with more on the way.
“At Glydways, we’re redefining mass transit. By 2050, 70 percent of the world’s population will live in cities. Congestion is ubiquitous and requires cost-effective, scalable, accessible, and efficient approaches, which is what we deliver with Glydways’ ATN,” said Mark Seeger, Founder and Co-CEO of Glydways. “Each city on our global tour represents a different frontier in delivering a modern mass transit system; from the dense urban hubs of Japan to the rapidly expanding metro areas of the U.S. and the innovation-driven economies of the Middle East. These regions are setting the standard for how mass transit can evolve to meet the infrastructure and transportation needs of growing populations, climate goals, and that of a more equitable mass transit system that serves all.”
