ECI Software Solutions Launches New Payments Division, Appoints Andres Ricaurte as President

Fintech and software veteran to lead ECI’s strategy, expanding integrated payment capabilities to help customers accelerate cash flow.

ECI Software Solutions, a global provider of cloud-based business management software and services, today announced the creation of its new Payments Division, dedicated to advancing the company’s fintech strategy and helping customers optimize cash flow, improve profitability, and drive growth. To lead this new payments division, the company has appointed Andres Ricaurte as Payments Division President.

“Payments is one of ECI’s top strategic priorities and represents a significant growth opportunity for our customers and for us as a business,” said Sarah Hagan, President and COO at ECI Software Solutions. “We’ve significantly increased our investment in this area to help our customers get paid faster, manage cash flow more efficiently, and strengthen their financial performance. Andres brings deep fintech and enterprise software experience and a track record of building customer-centric payment programs. Under his leadership, ECI will be able to accelerate innovation and deliver on our mission to make small and mid-sized businesses more profitable and efficient in everything they do.”

With more than 20 years leading businesses at the intersection of fintech and enterprise software, Ricaurte has built and scaled a range of B2B payments, lending, and digital banking platforms that help businesses manage and move money more efficiently. His experience spans public and PE-backed companies, including American Express, Buildertrend, and Mphasis. Most recently, he led CLEAR’s growth into B2B sectors including financial services and consumer platforms.

“I’m thrilled to join ECI at such a pivotal time,” said Andres Ricaurte, President, Payments at ECI Software Solutions. “Small and mid-sized businesses are the backbone of the economy, and payments sit at the center of how they operate. By embedding fintech directly into ECI’s platforms, we can turn payments from a back-office function into a growth engine, helping customers streamline cash flow, strengthen margins, and run their business with greater agility through automation and actionable insights.”

The creation of the Payments Division underscores ECI’s continued investment in fintech innovation and its expanding role in the payments ecosystem. ECI’s platforms already process over $7 billion in annual payments and are poised for significant growth as integrated payments adoption accelerates. Under Ricaurte’s leadership, the division will advance ECI’s suite of embedded fintech solutions spanning payments, working capital, and financial operations automation.
