University of Phoenix Tops List of Largest Phoenix-Area MBA Programs

Innovative programs, skills-mapped curriculum, and student success shape its distinctive impact

University of Phoenix is proud to announce its top ranking in the survey of the Largest Phoenix-Area MBA Programs published in the Phoenix Business Journal. Ranked by Total Enrollment for Fall 2023, the survey provides key insights into the MBA landscape, including the number of full-time and part-time students, and tuition details.

Faculty at the College of Business and Information Technology offer both academic credentials and industry experience to the students they serve, with an average of 32.8 years of professional experience and 18.6 years of teaching experience with University of Phoenix. Professional experience of College faculty include that of chief executives, presidents and executive directors.

Devon Moody is a graduate of the University of Phoenix’s MBA program, and a Creative Change Strategist. She says the structure and support of the University’s MBA program was a vital component of her success. “When I first learned about the MBA program, I was a single mom and a recent college graduate,” she shares. “I was looking for a flexible program to accommodate my life as a new mother, so I enrolled in a hybrid-MBA program and was amazed at the networking opportunities in the program. Moody, a University of Phoenix MBA graduate, has excelled as a business consultant and strategist, dedicated to fostering positive change in underserved communities. She says she still appreciates the diverse connections made during her MBA program, which she feels enhanced her ability to understand and communicate effectively with communities through various marketing strategies.

The MBA program at University of Phoenix, in addition to the standard online degree offering, now offers a competency-based delivery model, which on average allows students with eligible credits and relevant experience to complete their degree at a lower cost, have a greater monthly credit earning pace and the opportunity to complete their degree sooner than standard program counterparts.
