HyperX, the gaming peripherals team at HP Inc. and brand leader in gaming and esports, today announced the renewal of its sponsorship with professional gaming organization, Team Liquid, as the Official Peripherals Partner. Underscoring its commitment to the esports community and enhancing HyperX’s growing roster, Melee God Juan “Hungrybox” DeBeidma, Team Liquid co-owner, player, streamer, and esports commentator, has also been named an official HyperX Hero and global ambassador.

As part of the Team Liquid sponsorship, HyperX will support a variety of initiatives, including Team Liquid’s tournaments, charitable and community initiatives, and content programming with expanded focus on diversity and women in gaming.

As a HyperX Hero and ambassador, Hungrybox will participate in a variety of HyperX marketing activities, ranging from virtual streams, events and original content creation. As the most watched player on Liquid+1, he is one of Team Liquid’s most recognizable members of the gaming organization.

Beyond competition initiatives, the HyperX team will also support content initiatives including Team Liquid’s new podcast, “Table Talks,” hosted by Team Liquid players and staff. During video content series, the team will be using the HyperX Solocast or Quadcast microphones as part of their audio-video broadcast setup.

As a HyperX brand ambassador, Hungrybox joins a line-up of internationally recognized talent including social influencer Bella Poarch, football player JuJu Smith-Schuster, basketball players Gordon Hayward and Ariel Powers, tennis player Daniil Medvedev, international soccer player Dele Alli, professional race car driver Sage Karam, skateboarder Minna Stess, and more than 25 global streamers and influencers in the HyperX family.
