About Tiffany

Tiffany's dream of being a voice teacher started at an uncharacteristically young age. When she started taking voice lessons at 11, she noticed what an amazing life her very first voice teacher had as a wife, mother, vocal coach, and performer. Those experiences when she was young shaped her dream of being able to do it all.

"I think everybody has a dream, an ideal scenario, whether that be personally or professionally," says Tiffany.

She began her career as a high school junior, teaching voice lessons after school. After graduating, she attended college in Utah and continued teaching voice while studying. Tiffany earned a bachelor's degree in contemporary voice performance from Brigham Young University in 2021and declared a minor in theatre arts studies with an emphasis in sound design and technology. She is very proud of the fact that she created a new degree program that allows students who want a more well-rounded vocal education to find a place where they can forge their own path.

Before starting her business, Tiffany worked as a vocal coach for 6 years at a studio in Provo, Utah. During this time, she maintained the best student retention among all of the voice teachers and often had students from other teachers who would ask to take from her instead. She is grateful for her time as an independent contractor there as it allowed her to teach people outside of the studio sphere as well.

Tiffany started her business in 2024 and teaches out of her apartment. Her extra bedroom is dedicated to music and is professionally set up with her instruments and audio equipment. From here, she delivers virtual and in-person lessons to students across the globe, all of which are tailored to meet their individual needs. This can mean anything from helping students with auditions to helping them find their voice for the first time or helping them handle the mantle of being a lead singer in their bands. Tiffany teaches a very wide range of skill levels and loves the personal challenge it provides, which keeps her on her toes.

Singing at Tiffany's has grown faster than anticipated. When she broke away from the studio in Provo to start her business, she started with 6 students and grew to 21 in only a year. Tiffany is proud of this achievement, noting that it has been challenging but also fun. While her business is new, she is not new to the business as she has been getting paid to teach voice for over 12 years; before she even reached 30 years old.

"I'm still in the early stages of success. I would say what defines success to me at this point in my life, is the impact that is made long-term on other people. I want my students to feel like their voices are unlimited." Tiffany says.

Building on Success

In Utah, there is a high demand for vocal coaches. Tiffany is aware of this and works hard to set herself apart by simplifying the voice and helping people realize that singing is meant to feel easy. While Singing at Tiffany's main business is in vocal coaching, Tiffany is working to build a brand that spans performance, online courses, books, mentorship, and so much more. She has since launched a music video that can be found on YouTube and is already working on her next one.

"I don't want to just be another voice teacher in the state of Utah. I often ask myself, ‘What can I do to be different? How do I go about doing that? How can I help more than just singers?' I just want to keep showing up by being honest and realistic," Tiffany says.

Tiffany plans to continue expanding her business by ensuring she follows through on all the plans she has for herself and her brand.
