Aerosol cultivation mainly consists of three parts:The first is the part that fixes the plants and shields the roots from light;The second is the part that supplies nutrient solution;The third is the computer automation control part.
1. Fixed support part
The form of fixed plants in aeroponic cultivation is different from that in soil cultivation. Soil cultivation relies on root system to fix in the ground, while the root system of aeroponic cultivation is suspended in the air, so the base plants can only be fixed by filling the planting holes, fixing the planting baskets, or hanging the plants in the air.
Fixation requires physical support, with cultivation racks, cultivation boards, or groove bed pipes.
According to the form of physical support, we divide aeroponic cultivation into: tower aeroponics, ladder aeroponics, column aeroponics, barrel aeroponics, tube aeroponics, trough aeroponics, arch aeroponics, trench aeroponics, box aeroponics, hole aeroponics, airbag aeroponics, etc.
2. Nutrient solution supply part
Whether the construction of the nutrient supply part is standard and normative directly affects the atomization effect and plant growth.The nutrient supply part consists of a nutrient solution pool, a cultivation bed (trough or pipe, etc.), a bottom valve, a water pump, a filter, a strong magnetic processor, a nutrient solution sterilizer, a water supply main, a side branch pipe and a capillary tube, as well as a return port and a return pipe, a waterproof cloth, etc.
3. Computer control part
Computer control is the brain of the management decision-making of the aeroponic cultivation system and an important device for realizing intelligent digital precision management. It consists of three parts: a host, a sub-controller, and a sensor. The sensor is responsible for sensing and collecting various parameters such as the underground root environment and the aboveground growth environment or the physiological state of the crop. The sub-controller processes the data collected by each cultivation zone, and then the host judges the various parameters and issues execution instructions, which is similar to the human body's neural induction and brain decision-making process.
At present, the environmental parameter management used for aeroponic cultivation includes air greenhouse, air humidity, leaf water film, light intensity, nutrient solution temperature, nutrient solution water level, nutrient solution concentration, etc., but due to the specific needs of production or experiments, sensors for carbon dioxide concentration, pH value, and even plant physiological state detection can also be configured.
