Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 25, 2010, Credit Acceptance Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company priced $250 million of 9.125% first priority senior secured notes due 2017 (the “Notes”) in its previously-announced offering in the United States to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), and outside the United States pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act. The issue price is 97.495% of the principal amount of the Notes. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
