Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 29, 2010, Tractor Supply Company (the "Company") announced the Company’s declaration of a $0.14 cash dividend payable on August 31, 2010 to shareholders of record on August 16, 2010.
Additionally, the Company’s Board of Directors announced a two-for-one split of the Company’s common stock in the form of a stock dividend. As a result, stockholders will receive one additional share on September 2, 2010 for each share held as of the record date of August 19, 2010.
