Item 8.01.      Other Events

 

On August 8, 2017, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska granted Sprint Spectrum LP’s motion for relief from the June 2015 judgment in favor of Prism Technology Group’s subsidiary, Prism Technologies LLC (“Prism LLC”). Pursuant to Rule 60 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the district court set aside the $30 million judgment in favor of Prism LLC. The Company is evaluating its options in light of the district court’s order.
