ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.
On January 22, 2014, Newmont Mining Corporation (the “Company”) provided an update on export issues and new regulations in Indonesia impacting PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, which operates the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine in Indonesia.
A copy of the Company’s news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
