On September 7, 2011, Fortune Brands, Inc. (the “Company”) began making presentations to the equity investment community concerning Beam Inc., the standalone public spirits company to result from the planned separation of the Company’s businesses. A copy of the presentation is included as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
