On February 17, 2006, Community Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) mailed to its shareholders of record a letter (the “Letter”) summarizing the implementation of its strategic plan developed in 2004 and outlining its initiatives for 2006. Pursuant to General Instruction F to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Form 8-K, the Letter is furnished hereby as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by this reference.
