Gilat to Promote its Latest Broadband and Cellular Satellite
Solutions at AfricaCom 2014

Petah Tikva, Israel, November 10, 2014 -- Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology, solutions and services, announced today that it intends to promote its latest broadband and cellular satellite solutions at AfricaCom 2014, November 11-13 at the Cape Town Convention Centre, South Africa – Booth # D1.

At the event the Company intends to highlight CellEdge, a unique, integrated small cell over satellite solution that was designed to expand existing cellular networks, and SkyEdge II-c Libra, the Company’s new satellite/cellular hybrid terminal that delivers low-cost, high-speed Internet to areas with unreliable broadband coverage.

“One of the fastest growing telecom markets in Africa is Mobile Internet and we plan to show Mobile Network Operators how they can extend the reach of their broadband services, both geographically and financially, via satellite,” said Gilat’s CEO, Erez Antebi, who is scheduled to speak on this topic at the event. “We also intend to prove that existing cellular coverage can be expanded via satellite, farther and more cost-effectively than ever before thanks to our CellEdge integrated small cell solution.”
