The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 8.01 “Other Events.”  On December 16, 2008, The Buckle, Inc. issued a press release announcing a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share to be paid on January 27, 2009, for shareholders of record at the close of business on January 15, 2009.
