On May 10, 2010, AVI BioPharma, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the first fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2010. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
