On April 1, 2008, Chordiant Software, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release (the "Press Release") announcing selected preliminary financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2008.  A copy of the Press Release is being filed as exhibit 99.1 hereto.
