Nucor plans $2.7B steel plant, its largest construction project ever

Niucor Corp.'s announcement comes among rising fears of excess capacity in the U.S. steel market. Just last week, many major producers, including Nucor, saw stock prices fall as U.S. Steel Corp. announced its own plans for a 3-million-ton sheet mill plant.
