January 25th, 2021 – Jake Brozynski, Kaleb Tatum, and Brian Spaid have recently founded AnydayCasual, a sustainable lifestyle brand, located in Milwaukee, WI. The team created the brand to take a stand against the negative environmental effects of fast fashion. AnydayCasual garments are only produced under fair trade/fair labor practices, are constructed with natural fibers, and manufactured with their custom knitting process, SilkStretch™ knit. This knit gives each garment a buttery-soft feel and a versatile casual look.
AnydayCasual is focused on creating high quality garments that people love; “staple” pieces that can be worn “anyday”, anytime, and anywhere. Rather than mass producing cheap throwaway shirts that don’t last after a couple of washes, the team went a different route because of its commitment to the planet. Each detail was considered when creating their SilkStretch™ t-shirts, avoiding synthetic fibers, shrinkage, pilling, and the dreaded stretched out neck.
The team has also partnered with 1% For The Planet, an organization that helps AnydayCasual give back to various causes for each product purchased. Among these are non-profits who fight against fast fashion.
The pandemic has created a large shift in the fashion industry. Back in the spring when shelter at home orders spread across the country, people started purchasing comfortable leisure wear that could be worn around the house. This makes AnydayCasual’s launch fortuitous. Suits and ties were slowly moving away before the pandemic and now with working from home a standard practice for many professionals, comfort and quality are the most important fashion criteria.
