Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of a 24-watt LED machine light bar with a magnetic mounting system. This LED light bar runs on 110V AC that is provided by an in-line power transformer that is included. This 110-277V AC unit includes a detachable 16-foot coil cord between the in-line transformer and the light.
The LEDLB-8ET-M-16CC-1227 LED light bar produces a 100-foot long by 85-foot wide light beam with 1,440 lumens of bright white light. This unit features eight Edison Edixeon emitters containing Cree EZBright 3-watt LEDs producing 180 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with high purity 10-degree optics that produce a tightly focused spot beam. These LEDs are IP68 rated and waterproof to three feet and sealed against dust and dirt.
Larson Electronics’ LED light bar is made of extruded aluminum with heavier housings and rubber isolated mounts with unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability. The magnetic base allows easy and fast setup of the light on vehicles and other equipment and can hold the fixture in place at speeds up to 80 mph. This unit can run on any voltage between 9 and 42 volts. A step-down transformer can convert the original 110-277-volt current into 12 volts to accommodate the fixture.
This unit can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees C to 85 degrees C and features a 200lb magnetic mount with a power cord containing a cigarette plug connector for vehicle and equipment applications. This unit is suitable for industrial and manufacturing applications, machine vision system lighting, industrial machine illumination, blasting lighting and mining operations, and more.
