Set to take place on Saturday, June 22, 2019, the First Annual Beat Cancer Charity Basketball Showdown is to be held at the Matteson Community Center, located on Matteson Avenue in the heart of the Cook County village, which itself is a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. A licensed security contractor based in nearby Burbank, Abraham Kiswani reveals more about the hotly anticipated basketball event.

"Presented by the Jackson-Terrell Foundation, whose mission is to empower and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, the First Annual Beat Cancer Charity Basketball Showdown will see Team Kenny take on Team Lando," reveals Kiswani, a keen basketball fan and supporter of a number of local and national charities, organizations, and other good causes.

Boasting live music and sounds by Chicago-based DJ Will Trey, and billed as one of the best basketball showdowns the area has ever witnessed, the event will feature some of Chicago's top basketball talent, according to Kiswani. "All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital," he adds.

A leading U.S. children's hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital treats the toughest childhood cancers and pediatric diseases, and is leading the way in which the world understands, addresses, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening conditions.

"The event, which will be hosted by the Matteson Community Center, at 20642 Matteson Avenue, will kick off at 05:00 pm on Saturday, June 22," adds Kiswani, wrapping up, "and conclude later in the evening, at around 08:30 pm."

Tickets are priced at $10.00.

A graduate of Alan B. Shepard High School in Palos Heights, Illinois, Abraham Kiswani is today based in nearby Burbank, around 15 miles southwest of Chicago. A licensed security sector professional, basketball fan Kiswani is an avid supporter of various charities, nonprofit organizations, and other good causes including the Chicago-based Tuskegee NEXT project, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, and children's cancer foundation St. Baldrick's.

Outside of his work and charitable efforts, Kiswani's personal interests include skydiving, bungee jumping, and antique muscle cars, as well as cooking, movie memorabilia collecting, sailing, scuba diving, and softball.
