PI® Releases Project Insight for Jira 2.0

Latest version of add-on advances 'Development-to-Portfolio' functionality for software businesses

IRVINE, Calif. - April 18, 2019 - (Newswire.com)

Project Insight, the leading work management and data aggregation platform, announced today the second version release of its portfolio synchronization and estimation conversion add-on for Atlassian's Jira.

With the proliferation of development tools using story points and other agile techniques, it has become increasingly difficult for portfolio managers and executives to translate estimations into real dollars and sense. Project Insight for Jira not only lets developers continue to use the tools and delivery they've come to expect with Jira but ingests, aggregates and level-sets estimations, durations, work and timesheets all into one central location for managers and executives.

"We're really excited to launch the latest version of this software," said Kevin Perkins, director of marketing for PI. "We have developed an end-to-end solution where software businesses can be developing, dynamically syncing with the portfolio, and readying invoice records for progress billing -- all in one motion."

Perkins noted that PI's integration with Jira -- and also Trello, Azure DevOps, Gmail, SharePoint, Office 365 and many other applications -- allows managers and executives to have complete visibility into their "work warehouse" at any given time. "This is a game-changer: we have software that lets people Work Where They're At™ while rolling up all the proposals, work, capacities, rates, time, etc., in one centralized system. Very powerful stuff."

Project Insight is a leading business management software leveraging professional work automation to make your job easier. From project management to full-service consulting, PI® allows users to aggregate their data and connect teams in one centralized platform.
