British pound sets course for $1.40, with no end to rally in sight, strategists say

The British pound is taking out multiyear high after multiyear high versus the U.S. dollar over the past weeks, inching back into the territory it held before the notorious Brexit vote in June 2016, and there is no end to the rally in sight as it’s also outperforming the ever-strong euro.
