Sangamo Biosciences Inc. (Nasdaq: SGMO) will collaborate with Biogen Idec Inc. (Nasdaq: BIIB) to develop therapeutics for hemoglobinopathies. Shares of Sangamo jumped $4.76 to $18.41 while Biogen stock gained 97 cents to $290.98.
