The AfriKin Art Wellington Exhibition, a Celebration of African Contemporary Art Held in Partnership with the Village of Wellington, Comes to the Wellington Community Center

This exhibition will showcase the richness and diversity of African contemporary art, continuing the 10-year anniversary of AfriKin. With its core focus on Black culture, the event will feature a powerful array of paintings, sculptures, performance art, photography, and interactive digital installations from over 25 countries across the globe.

The AfriKin Art Wellington Exhibition has been officially announced and will bring an eclectic mix of the Black world-inspired art and culture to Palm Beach, to the Wellington Community Center Grande Ballroom to honor Black History Month and Women’s History Month.

AfriKin continues to shine a spotlight on the creativity, strength, and resilience of Black communities, highlighting the intersection of heritage, identity, and transformation through art. This curated exhibition offers attendees an immersive experience, where they can explore the captivating works of renowned and emerging artists from around the world. Whether through bold visual narratives or thought-provoking performance pieces, the exhibition brings African Contemporary Fine Art to the forefront, creating a space for dialogue and cultural exchange.

The VIP opening of the AfriKin Art Wellington Exhibition will be held on February 28, 2025, from 5:00-9:00pm, and the public opening of the exhibition will be held on March 1, 2025, from 11:00am-7:00pm.
