The Bump and Dear Media Announce No Guide for This Podcast: A Refreshing Take on Adulting, Parenting and Everything In Between

The show will feature a lineup of celebrity guests and experts - from Whitney Port to Melanie Fiona - who get candid about the transformative journey into parenthood

The Bump, a leading community-centric resource and trusted advocate for new and expecting parents, announces No Guide For This, a refreshing new podcast that explores the often-untold and real stories about the transition from adulthood to parenthood. The first two episodes, "Is Parenting For Me?" and "Getting Real About Fertility" with guest Whitney Port are now available to stream on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Hosted by The Bump’s Head of Marketing and Content, Jen Hayes Lee, and Senior Brand Development Manager, Sasha Smith, the show invites listeners into raw and insightful discussions with celebrity guests and experts about the joys and challenges of modern-day parenting, relationships, and identity shifts when children enter the picture. Notable guests include Grammy-winning artist Melanie Fiona and reality TV stars Whitney Port, Heather Rae El Moussa, and Kelly Mi Li, among others.

No Guide For This is created in partnership with Dear Media, the largest female marketplace in audio, and approaches conversations about the unpredictable world of parenting with humor, honesty, and authenticity. From exploring the hard question, “Do I even want children?” to candid discussions on co-parenting and postpartum self-care, the show fosters a sense of community for listeners navigating this pivotal stage of life.

On Episode Two, Whitney Port of MTV The Hills and The City fame shares, “Every stage of parenting has just been a phase. And you try to master the phase that you’re in, and as soon as you master it, you’re on to the next phase so you just have to release control with it all.” Her insight underscores a recurring theme of the podcast—the importance of flexibility and continuous learning in parenthood—creating space for new parents to grow alongside their children.

“We’re beyond thrilled to unveil No Guide For This and ignite raw dialogues about the complexities of parenting rooted in honesty, humor, and vulnerability,” says Jen Hayes Lee, Head of Marketing and Content for The Bump. “As a support system for navigating modern parenthood, our mission with this show is to create a safe space where listeners feel understood, empowered, and connected. We’re so excited to share our real experiences alongside such an inspiring group of guests and hope that No Guide For This will serve as a companion for people on the transformative journey into parenthood.”

At Dear Media, we believe in conversations that truly matter—ones that captivate forward-thinking audiences and inspire meaningful change. Few journeys transform us more profoundly than parenthood, which is why our partnership with The Bump on this limited-series podcast is so special. Together, we're bringing you authentic, unfiltered stories of parenthood through what we do best: compelling, premium storytelling that both enlightens and moves you.

The No Guide For This podcast is now streaming on Apple and Spotify, with the first two episodes available. New episodes will drop every Wednesday.
