New Billboards Mark AHF’s 50 Country Milestone, Promote Easy Testing

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) has launched two new national billboard and outdoor advertising campaigns. The first, “50 Countries – 2.7 Million in Care,” celebrates a historic AHF milestone: reaching operations in 50 countries worldwide, now with the recent addition of Bangladesh, an extraordinary achievement since the organization first launched its global programs in 2002 in South Africa and Uganda.

AHF launched a new national billboard and outdoor advertising campaign, “50 Countries – 2.7 Million in Care,” which celebrates a historic AHF milestone: reaching operations in 50 countries worldwide, now with the recent addition of Bangladesh, an extraordinary achievement. The campaign will appear nationwide in 38 cities in 13 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico, where AHF has clinics and Wellness Centers offering free STD testing and treatment.

“50 countries, over 1,000 clinics, and 2.7 million lives in care: a remarkable accomplishment, however, AHF will not rest on its laurels,” said AHF President Michael Weinstein. “The global public health system is profoundly broken and must be repaired. STDs here and abroad are at pandemic levels and being ignored. Too many patients are not retained in care. The responsibility of bringing as many people as possible into the lifeboat of care remains staggering but is a challenge that AHF will continue to rise to.”

The second campaign, “Just Say Ahh!” promotes sexual health and wellbeing, particularly, the needle-free ease of testing for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs or STDs) via a painless oral swab. The artwork drives to the freeSTDcheck.org URL with a playful use of a well-worn doctor visit “say ahh” trope.

The two campaigns will appear in nearly three dozen cities and regions across the U.S. where AHF provides care and services and will run for the next three months.

The campaign will appear nationwide in 38 cities in 14 states, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico where AHF has clinics and Wellness Centers offering free STD testing and treatment, including in CALIFORNIA: Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego & San Francisco; FLORIDA: Delray Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. The campaign will appear nationwide in 33 cities in 14 states and Washington, DC where AHF has clinics and Wellness Centers offering free STD testing and treatment, including in CALIFORNIA: Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego & San Francisco; FLORIDA: Delray Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Ft.
