On April 24, 2008, PCTEL, Inc. issued a press release regarding its financial results
for its first fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2008. The full text of the press release is attached
hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

On April 24, 2008, PCTEL announced that its Board of Directors authorized a special cash
dividend of $0.50 per share, to be paid on May 30, 2008 to stockholders of record on May 15, 2008.
