Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
John F. Turner, whose term as a director expires in 2015, and having reached his 72nd birthday will retire from Ashland Inc.’s Board of Directors (the “Board) at the Annual Meeting pursuant to Ashland’s Corporate Governance Guidelines after nine years of service. Upon Mr. Turner’s retirement, the Board presently expects to reduce the number of total directorships to ten.
