On July 2, 2012, Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania (the “Corporation”), parent company of Univest Bank and Trust Co (the “Bank”), issued a press release announcing the promotion of Jeffrey M. Schweitzer, CPA, to Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation. Schweitzer will remain Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation and the Bank. A copy of this press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
