On October 28, 2009, MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. issued a press release announcing its earnings for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 8.01. Other Events.

On October 22, 2009, the Board of Directors of MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per share payable on December 15, 2009 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 1, 2009.
