Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

As previously announced, Joseph E. Carey, Chief Operating Officer, intends to retire from the Company. On April 17, 2007, Mr. Carey ceased acting as Chief Operating Officer of the Company and, in connection therewith, Allscripts and Mr. Carey agreed to substantially reduce his current salary under his employment agreement. It is expected that Mr. Carey will remain an employee of the Company as needed to assist the current management team and his successor in the transition of his responsibilities and will receive a nominal salary for his services.
