On September 23, 2009, First Community Bancshares, Inc. announced by press release its third quarter 2009 cash dividend to common stockholders of $0.10 per common share, payable on or about October 30, 2009, to shareholders of record on October 16, 2009.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
