On January 30, 2007, j2 Global Communications, Inc. (the “Company”) received an unsolicited written notification from the staff of The Nasdaq Stock Market stating that the Nasdaq Listing and Hearing Review Council (the “Listing Council”) has called for review of the December 19, 2006 decision of the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel (the “Panel”) which had required the Company to become current in its financial statement filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission by February 13, 2007. The Listing Council has determined at this time to stay the Panel’s December 19, 2006 decision and any future Panel determinations to suspend the Company’s securities from trading pending further action by the Listing Council. The Listing Council requested that the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department provide an update by March 21, 2007 regarding the Company which should include current financial information. The Nasdaq notification indicated that the Company may submit additional information that it wishes no later than March 30, 2007.
 
The Company intends to file its delinquent Form 10-Qs from 2006 before filing its Form 10-K for 2006 which is due March 1, 2007, and which the Company intends to timely file.
